College football isn’t just a game in the South, it’s a way of life. And if you’ve ever tailgated in Dixie’s early September heat, you know that looking good and staying cool aren't so easy. Inspired by her years in Gainesville watching the Gators play in Florida humidity, Sarasota-native and entrepreneur, Kristin L. Celano launched a line of knits that are just as stylish as they are spirited.
“I found myself struggling every year to find game day looks that met a sense of spirit and style, so I set out to launch a lifestyle brand of classic styles that can be worn anywhere, and specifically for game day,” Says Celano about starting her line of stretch dresses, tops, and skirts called Jane Hudson.

After a year of searching, she finally found the right fabric—a high-quality medium-weight viscose-spandex blend—one that is thick enough to keep you covered but breezy enough to keep you cool. All made right here in the US, these seven striped styles are all aptly named for campus spirit, such as the “The Jennings,” named after a University of Florida dormitory and The Betty Davis, named after a popular Oxford, MS retailer.
No matter who you’re rooting for this season, Jane Hudson has something worth cheering for—and in for that matter.
