Amanda Chapman's family Christmas card is so good it’s scary.
The Tuscumbia, Ala.-based photographer and makeup artist is known for her out-of-this-world talents. She has made a name for herself doing a 31 Days of Halloween Makeup shoot over the past five years. This year, however, Chapman is taking on a new holiday. With the help of her husband and their two kids, she’s brought the Christmas card game to an entirely new level.
“I loved working on our very first family Christmas card photo shoot and of course I chose The Nightmare Before Christmas as the theme!” Chapman wrote alongside a photo from the shoot on Facebook.

Dressed in their incredibly realistic costumes (all handmade by Chapman) inspired by the cast of the classic Tim Burton film, the fearsome family of four stands in the woods beside a Christmas tree holding oversized ornaments. The couple’s daughter Amberlyn dressed as Jack Skellington and her son Ethan played the part of Oogie Boogie in a costume mom made from an old burlap sack. Chapman and her husband appear between them as Sally Skellington and the Mayor of Halloween Town, respectively.
Well done, Chapmans! We hope Sandy Claws is good to you this year.
